From 7pm to 9pm: Waterstones Local Authors Party
On the eve of the Festival, over a glass of wine or Sipsmith gin and tonic, Torin Douglas and Jo James showcased the wealth of local talent that Chiswick has to offer. Each author had just two minutes to speak about their book, making this a fast-paced, fun and fascinating evening.
The event was kindly sponsored by Sipsmith, which is launching SIP: 100 Gin Cocktails.
Waterstones, 220-226 Chiswick High Road.

These were this year’s authors and books – and the order in which they spoke (see authors and books above: photo by Roger Green). Chesca Torlot of Sipsmith also introduced their new Gin Cocktail book.
