At Chiswick House on Thursday September 13th 2018 there was an evening devoted to William Thackeray and Vanity Fair, which was serialised on ITV. Thackeray went to school in Chiswick and the book’s first chapter is set in Chiswick Mall.
To mark the 10th Festival, we commemorated Thackeray and other great Chiswick writers by launching a new Writers Trail and The Chiswick Timeline of Writers & Books.
